Three gunmen robbed man in his home, police say

Three men allegedly robbed at man at gunpoint early Tuesday in his Auburn home on Aspen Heights Lane, authorities said.

Jaken Dowdell, 20; Martavious Dowdell, 20; and Tevin Calloway, 25, face one count each of first-degree robbery, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Calloway, 25, faces an additional charge of carrying a pistol without a permit.

They are all incarcerated in the Lee County Jail under bonds totaling about $300,000.

Auburn police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Aspen Heights Lane around 5:30 a.m. to investigate a robbery. The victim said three men who visited his home earlier returned with handguns and took cash along with more than $2,000 worth of electronics.

They injured no one before fleeing the scene, according to a news release.

Officials arrested all three suspects during a traffic stop. They were being taken into custody when authorities found marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a handgun.
