One dead after single-vehicle crash on icy road
One person has died in an apparent weather-related crash at the intersection of Lee County Road 175 and Alabama 169, Lee County Coroner Bill Harris confirmed Friday afternoon.
Harris said it was a single-vehicle accident and it appeared the vehicle may have lost control on an icy patch of road.
The coroner and other officials are still on the scene and investigating. No further details are available at this time.
