Man killed while at home with two children, police say

A 31-year-old man was killed Monday night while he was at a LaGrange home with two children, authorities said.

Antonio M. Harris, who officials identified as the victim, was pronounced dead on the scene.

LaGrange police were called to the 100 block of Lady Elaine around 9 p.m. Monday to investigate a shooting. They found Harris inside of the residence with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Officials said further investigation indicated that multiple unidentified people on the street fired shots into the residence. Harris, two women and two children were in the home at the time.

No one aside from Harris was shot.
