Police looking for suspect in robbery of Suntrust Bank in Publix
A suspect in a Columbus bank robbery Monday is being sought.
The man that police say robbed the SunTrust bank inside of the Publix grocery store, 5435 Woodruff Farm Road, is described as a white male in his 60s. He is about 6-foot tall and weighs 180 pounds.
He was wearing a tan and dark colored cap, yellow glasses, a tan jacket, a plaid button up shirt and jeans.
He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Nobody was hurt.
Police were dispatched to the bank around 3 p.m.
The bank was shut down for a period of time.
Besides Columbus police, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation were on the scene.
