Woman charged after shots fired at man riding bicycle
A Columbus woman was taken to the Muscogee County Jail after a shots were fired at a man on a bicycle on Sheridan Avenue.
Taneisha Harris, 31, was taken into custody at 11:23 a.m. and charged with once count of aggravated assault after the 11:23 a.m. shooting . She is held in the Muscogee County Jail for a 9 a.m. Friday hearing in Recorder’s Court.
Two patrol officers were called to the 700 block of Sheridan Avenue to check on shots fired at a man on a bicycle. Shots were fired from a vehicle in the area.
Police didn’t specify whether the man was injured during the shooting. Harris was arrested without incident at the scene of the shooting.
