A Columbus man was accused of sexually assaulting a child in October at a Columbus home near Walker Street, authorities said.
Marquis Parks, 23, faces four counts each of aggravated sodomy, sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purposes. He was booked into the Muscogee County Jail for a 9 a.m. Friday hearing in Columbus Recorder's Court.
Columbus police were called to a home near Walker Street around 10:23 p.m. Oct. 8 to investigate a domestic dispute. Further investigation indicated that a child was molested.
Parks was in the Coweta County Jail Tuesday afternoon when he was arrested on outstanding warrants stemming from the incident. No other details were immediately released.
