Police identify man killed in Phenix City shooting on Sandfort Road
The victim of a shooting this weekend in Phenix City has been identified as David Leroy Oliver, 25, according to Phenix City police.
Police responded to the shooting at 2712 Sandfort Road around 10:45 a.m. Saturday and found Oliver shot dead inside a vehicle, according to a release. His body will be sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
Steven Ray Harris, 61, was arrested for capital murder in the shooting, police said.
