Early morning shooting in Columbus leaves 24 year old dead
An early morning shooting near Maplewood Drive in Columbus left one man dead, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
24-year-old Jeremy Wisdom was shot around 1 a.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Maplewood Drive, Bryan said. Wisdom was pronounced dead at Piedmont Columbus Regional two hours later at 3 a.m.
A group of people were inside the residence when someone fired shots in the home, striking Wisdom, Bryan said.
At this time, there is no information available about a possible suspect.
