Columbus police locate suspect involved in Auto Zone stabbing

Columbus police have located a man who reportedly attacked an employee at a local Auto Zone Tuesday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m., Jayvon Hatchett, 19, entered the 950 32nd Street store and was greeted by an employee, whom he attacked with a knife, police said.

According to police, Hatchett lived in the area where the attack occurred. He has been apprehended and has a Recorder’s Court hearing at 9 a.m. Thursday.
