Two gas stations near Columbus busted for selling Viagra, other drugs, police say

Police in Opelika, Alabama have seized Viagra and other pills while serving search warrants at two stores, they said.

Police first searched the AM PM Food Mart at 3700 Pepperwell Parkway, where they confiscated bags containing Viagra, the stimulant Kratom and pills believed to be the antidepressant tianeptine, along with cash and a gun, officers said.

Kamal Kumar Kakkar, 21, was charged with distributing a controlled substance and three counts of possessing a controlled substance, they said.

Next police searched the Chevron Food Mart at 1101 Columbus Parkway, where they seized “a large quantity” of what they believed to be tianeptine and two guns, they said.

Officers charged Cynthia Lee Thompson, 62, with possessing a controlled substance and distributing a controlled substance, police said.
