Columbus police identify man fatally wounded at gas station Wednesday evening

A man was shot to death at a gas station Wednesday evening in southeast Columbus, police said.

The shooting occurred around 6:34 p.m. at the Chevron station on 1118 Farr Road, according to a press release from the Columbus Police Department.

Kivonte Clark, 25, died at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital at 7:04 p.m.

CPD’s homicide unit is currently investigating and encourages anyone with information about the investigation to contact Detective A. Moyer at (706) 225-4435 or report anonymously at (706) 653-3188.
