Shots fired during armed robbery at Peachtree Mall in Columbus. No injuries reported

A brazen day-time armed robbery at the Peachtree Mall Tuesday led to shots being fired, according to Columbus Police.

Officials say there are no injuries after the robbery that occurred at SB Company Jewelry & Sunglasses within the mall.

A heavy police presence was reported by various media outlets as well as social media.

No arrests have been made at this time and an undisclosed amount of jewelry was taken from the store, according to officials.

There is no active shooter at this point, police say.
