Shooting in a Columbus parking lot leaves two victims injured and two suspects at large
Two men are being sought by Columbus police after a shooting Friday morning left one person in critical condition and a second also injured.
Columbus police said they responded to a local hospital around 6:30 a.m. where two people had been brought in with gunshot wounds.
An investigation revealed that the shooting took place in a parking lot in the 1700 block of Rollins Way, according to police.
Police said a female was being assaulted by two male suspects in the parking lot of the Extended Stay America hotel. A third man tried to assist the woman and they were both shot, according to a news release.
The female victim was shot in the head and is listed in critical condition, according to police.
Police said the male victim was shot in the thigh and is expected to recover from his wounds.
Warrants have been issued for two suspects in connection to the double shooting:
Kenneth Ray Henderson, 57, is wanted for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon during a crime and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
Also wanted was Jeremy Dewayne Spradley, 39, for aggravated assault and possession of a gun during a crime.
Police said both suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
