Guns, over $25,000 in drugs seized by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office. Two arrested
The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office seized over $25,000 in drugs after serving search warrants Tuesday on two residences in Muscogee County following a narcotics investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators found eight guns in addition to the drugs, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The sheriff’s office seized the following, according to a news release:
4.4 pounds of marijuana ($19,888 value)
126 grams of psilocybin mushrooms ($1,512 value)
160 packages of THC edibles ($3,200 value)
24 disposable THC pens ($1,056 value)
8 firearms (one reported stolen)
$13,020 in cash
2 vehicles
The sheriff’s office said Zoeie Thomas and Dequan Aldridge were arrested as a result of the investigation.
The sheriff’s office said Thomas is charged with the following:
Felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Felony possession of THC with intent to distribute
Felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (two counts)
Felony possession of psilocybin
Aldridge is charged with the following, according to the sheriff’s office:
Felony bench warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
Felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (eight counts)
Felony theft by receiving stolen property
Felony trafficking psilocybin
Obstruction of a law enforcement officer
Possession of drug related objects
