Shooting Friday evening in east Columbus leaves two dead, police say

Two people are dead after a shooting Friday evening in east Columbus, according to police.
Police said the call came in around 6:40 p.m. for the shooting that occurred in the 1100 block of Richland Dr.
The Columbus Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit will lead the investigation, according to a post on the department’s X page.
