A 72-year-old man accused of assaulting a woman with a knife and pruning scissors has made bond, Muscogee County Jail records state.
Lenson Taylor was charged with aggravated assault on March 2. He made his $10,000 bond Saturday, records state.
Columbus police officers were called to Colorado Street and Rigdon Road on the day of Taylor’s arrest about an assault. According to police, an altercation had occurred both inside and outside apartments on Rigdon Road. A 47-year-old woman had been cut with a knife and struck with a metal chair, police said.
The woman had cuts and bruises to her hands, arms, head and neck. Her condition was listed as fair by police.
