Christmas aggravated assault: LaGrange police searching for woman who allegedly stabbed man and fled

LAGRANGE, Ga. -- LaGrange police are searching for a woman who allegedly stabbed a man and fled as Christmas Eve turned into Christmas Day.

About 5 minutes after midnight, police responded to a Bridgewood Drive residence in reference to an assault. Dehron Ross, 39, told police that Carla Cameron, 34, came to his home, stabbed him in the leg and fled the scene, according to a LaGrange police news release.

Ross was taken to the West Georgia Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

A warrant has been issued for Cameron's arrest on a charge of aggravated assault. Her relationship to Ross wasn't stated.
