LaGrange man shot in finger during armed robbery

A LaGrange man was shot in the finger Wednesday after an unknown assailant attempted to rob him near Tower Street, according to a press release.

LaGrange police met with the victim at the West Georgia Medical Center. He told officers a man wearing a black ski mask and all black clothing shot him during the attempted robbery around 11:20 p.m.
