Suspected cocaine dealer arrested on Southside Court

A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with distributing cocaine and marijuana after police stopped him for loitering in a Southside Court parking lot Tuesday, according to a Columbus police report.

Officers recovered about 1.6 ounces of marijuana, valued at $446, and 8.5 grams of cocaine, valued at $850, after searching Aaron Brown around 7 p.m. Both drugs were divided into small baggies. A digital scale was also recovered, according to the report.

Brown was additionally charged with loitering. He was taken to the Muscogee County Jail.
