Man injured when bike stolen on Gentian Boulevard

A Columbus man reported to police his bicycle was stolen by force Saturday morning.

According to the police report, the victim suffered a small laceration to the left side of his face.

The crime occurred around 8:15 a.m. on a bike trail at Gentian Boulevard/Cougar Court.

The man who took the bike was identified as a black man in his 20s with short dreads. He was wearing a gray shirt with no sleeves.

The bicycle was a black and gold Schwinn valued at $100.
