Detective blames positive drug test on 'erection-enhancing cream,' gets job back

According to an arbitrator's ruling Thursday, Reinaldo Casas, a Miami Beach police detective, was fired last year after cocaine was unknowingly absorbed into his skin "through an erection-enhancing cream he applied to his genitals."

Casas, fired from the department in February 2013 after failing a random drug test, will be given his job back per this ruling, according to the Miami Herald.

Casas has maintained he was given the cream from a friend, who -- the Herald reports -- got it from "an old Cuban guy" and which "resembled Vaseline."

The city of Miami Beach has maintained that this story is "incredible." According to the arbitrator's decision, the city now owes Casas back pay.

His annual salary: $74,745.84.
