Montgomery woman dies in three-vehicle crash

A 24-year-old Montgomery, Ala. woman died in a crash involving three vehicles Saturday night.

Killed in the wreck, that occurred around 10:20 p.m., was Ashley Shuntrice Davis. Two others were injured.

According to a report from the Alabama State Troopers, Davis and 34-year-old Keavon Taylor were both struck by a 2004 Dodge Durango while standing outside their 2002 Chevrolet Blazer on U.S. 80 one mile east of Montgomery.

Xaylen Davis, 4, exited the vehicle and was struck by a 1993 Toyota.

The two injured were taken to Jackson Hospital.

The case is still under investigation.
