Electronics stolen from Schaul Street residence

On Monday, more than $1,000 in electronics was stolen from a 33-year-old woman's home in the 2600 block of Schaul Street, according to the Columbus police department.

After forcing his or her way through the rear south door, the offender took a $348 50 inch Hisense flat screen TV, a $290 32 inch Toshiba flat screen TV, two 32 inch Emerson flat screen TVs with each valued at $300 each, a $125 PSP hand-held game, $190 Playstation 3 game system and assorted Playstation 3 game cartridges priced at $200 each, police said in a report.

In total, police believe the suspect took $1,753 worth of property between 11:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. before exiting through the rear south door.

The amount of property damage the suspect caused is unknown, reports show.

Records indicate that no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified, and the case is currently under investigation.
