Columbus Police: Phenix City woman beaten, robbed Sunday in hotel room

Columbus police say a Phenix City woman was robbed and beaten Sunday at the Value Place Hotel located at 1801 Victory Drive.

According to the report, the 38-year-old victim was punched and dragged in a hotel room and suffered a laceration to the lips and swelling in the hands.

The time of the robbery was around 2:30 a.m.

Reported taken from the woman was an LTE cell phone valued at $100.

The woman said she knew the man who robbed her and police are searching for a suspect who left in a blue Chevrolet S10.
