A 36-year-old Columbus man was injured in a Friday Garden Drive shooting, and police are still searching for the attacker, according to reports.
The victim was transported to the Midtown Medical Center in an ambulance and treated for a "small" gunshot wound to the left side of the chest, Columbus police said in a report. He's in stable condition following the incident, which occurred at about 4:13 a.m. in the 2400 block of Garden Drive.
Records show that officials have not identified any suspects but believe the shooter used a pistol to harm the victim.
Officers said they received a Friday call at about 4:13 a.m. in reference to the front porch shooting, which remains under investigation.
