Police officers rushed to the Wells Fargo Bank on 13th Street today after a masked man tried to enter the bank before it opened, police said.

No one was injured during the encounter and no weapon was seen.

Police Lt. John McMichael said a bank employee was inside the 101 13th St. business when the man was spotted about 8:55 a.m. The man pulled on the door a couple of times before he left the scene.

Detectives questioned a man a short distance from the bank. Police haven't determined why the man was wearing the mask and attempting to enter the bank.
