Victim held at gunpoint during Opelika robbery on South First Street

Opelika police say a resident was robbed by a familiar face Friday in the 200 block of South First Street, according to a release.

The victim told officials that a person he knew well held him at gunpoint and stole some of his money, Opelika Police Capt. Shane Healey said.

The victim wasn't injured during the armed robbery, Healey said.
