Authorities say a 46-year-old homeless man was shot in the right pelvic area Monday morning in the 2400 block of Garden Drive, according to reports.
Records indicate that the man is in stable condition after being rushed to the Midtown Medical Center in an ambulance for treatment.
Police said in a report that they are still working to identify the offender who used a pistol to shoot the victim in the street between 3:30 am and 3:40 a.m.
Officials described the lone suspect as a 5-foot-9 black man who lives in a white house across the street from where the incident occurred.
