An 18-year-old Jordan High School student was jailed Friday morning after disrupting other students on the way to school, Columbus police said.
Artavia Bush was taken into custody at 8:15 a.m. after the bus she was riding stopped at Veterans Parkway and Sixth Street. She was charged with one count each of making terroristic threats and disrupting a public school. She remained held Saturday in the Muscogee County Jail.
In a report, police said Bush was involved in a fight on the school bus and it disrupted the transportation of the students. Bush told police that she threatened other students and said, ”I’ll beat you and I’ll give your momma some of this.”
