Two Columbus drivers were the victims after their vehicles were hijacked at gunpoint Friday and early Saturday, police said.
In the first hijacking, police said a pistol was stuck in a 26-year-old man’s back before his 2011 Chevy Malibu was taken in a parking lot on Rosemont Drive. He was not injured in the 1:30 p.m. hijacking.
The robber was described as black, 15-21 years old and weighing 150 pounds. He had a low hair cut and wore a black T-shirt and black pants.
A 25-year-old woman was at the intersection of Swann Street and Brewer Avenue when two young men pointed a pistol at her before taking a tan 1999 Lexus ES300 just after midnight Friday. The vehicle was recovered just before 9 a.m.
