Police are investigating a house burglary on 16th Avenue that happened between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, according to reports.
A report made Tuesday indicates that no suspects have been tied to the incident, which occurred in the 3900 block of 16th Avenue between Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday at 7:45 a.m.
Officers said they were called to the area Wednesday at 12:03 p.m.
They said they met with the victim's family member. The relative told police that she noticed that her 34-year-old family member's door had been kicked open. But because she had to leave immediately, she simply closed it and left, according to reports.
When she returned, she noticed that a Magnavox DVD player, 42-inch Samsung TV, 32-inch Samsung TV and various pieces of jewelry were taken from the house, Columbus police said.
Officers continue to investigate the house burglary.
