Muscogee County school student arrested and charged with felony terroristic threats

A student has been arrested and charged with felony terroristic threats, the Muscogee County School District announced Thursday.

MCSD police received a report Wednesday afternoon of a threat against Jordan Vocational High School that was circulating on social media, the district said in its news release. School district police launched an investigation, identified a student suspected of the threat, and arrested them, the school district said.

“At this time, there are no further updates or additional information available,” MCSD communications director Kimberly Wright said in the news release.
