Update: Bernard Murray has been located and is en route home to his mother, according to the Columbus Police Department as of 6:15 p.m. Monday.
Original story:Columbus police have issued a BOLO alert for an 11-year-old boy by the name of Bernard Murrary, according to a release.
Born on Dec. 16, 2003, the 4-foot-tall black boy was last seen on Decatur Court Monday at 9 a.m. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and grey Nike tennis shoes with an orange Nike symbol at the time. He was also riding a black bicycle, police said.
The boy has brown eyes and brown hair, according to authorities.
Officials said it is also possible that Murray may be spotted in a blue t-shirt with an animation logo on it.
The areas the 80-pound boy often visits include Decatur Court, Arbor Pointe and Shirley B. Winston Park, according to the report.
