A Harris County man told police an armed stranger robbed him late Thursday outside of his Blan Street residence, according to a Columbus police report.
The 60-year-old victim wasn't harmed, officials said.
Police said they have not named any suspects or made any arrests in the case.
At about 11:55 p.m. Thursday, police were called to the man's residence in the 2400 block of Blan Street to address an armed robbery report. On the scene, the victim told authorities that a black man wearing dark clothing and a black bandana brandished a chrome-plated handgun and demanded money between 11 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.
Police found two shell casing approximately 50 feet from the man's Blan Street residence, but they haven't provided any additional information concerning the incident.
