Columbus Police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred early this week at the Circle K gas stations on Manchester Expressway and Milgen Road, according to reports.
Authorities said no one was arrested or named as a suspect in either incident. Authorities did not specify what was taken from the convenience store. No injuries were reported.
The first incident happened 11:27 p.m. Sunday when the Circle K at 2510 Manchester Expressway was allegedly robbed by a black man carrying a shotgun.
Witnesses said the unidentified suspect appeared to be in his early 20s and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He has an average built and was last seen wearing a dark blue baseball cap, bandana, white tank top and blue jeans, according to the report.
Officers said they called to the scene around 11:28 p.m., but the armed man had already fled the scene by that time.
At 1:21 a.m. Monday, the Circle K at 5758 Milgen Road was robbed at gunpoint with a pistol. An officer was called to the scene at 1:27 a.m., but they have yet to provide a description of any possible suspects in that case.
Police have not clarified at this time whether or not they believe the armed robberies are connected.
