Two Columbus women told authorities that a stranger held them at gunpoint but injured no one early Tuesday in a Columbus park, according to a report.
Authorities have not named or described any possible suspects in the case.
An officer said he was called to the scene minutes after the 5:50 a.m. incident.
The responding officer learned that an individual carrying a pistol attempted to rob the 35-year-old woman and successfully robbed the 50-year-old woman at the intersection of Garrard Street and 19th Avenue. In the report, officials did not list what was stolen.
