Wounded from shooting, pregnant woman and man seek help at Columbus City Services Center

Two people were injured after a shooting Tuesday morning in Columbus, leading to the victims driving to the City Services Center in an attempt to find help.

A pregnant woman is in critical condition after the shooting in the 1400 block of Boxwood Boulevard at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday morning, Columbus Police Department public information officer Brittany Santiago said in a news release. A man also was injured, she said, but he is not in critical condition.

The victims drove to the City Services Center to find help.

“We want to clarify that the shooting did not occur at the City Services Center,” Santiago said.

No arrests have been made, she said, however CPD’s Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.

CPD urges anyone with information about the shooting to call 911.
