Authorities are searching for the two men who allegedly punched a homeless man and robbed him of $100 worth of property Tuesday at the intersection of Hamilton and Talbotton roads.
Columbus Police were called to Midtown Medical around 5:11 p.m. Tuesday to speak with a robbery victim attacked outside of an abandoned house at the corner of Hamilton and Talbotton roads.
In good condition, the homeless man told police that two black strangers punched him and fled the scene with his medication, red pocket knife and brown leather wallet between 4 and 4:30 p.m.
The first suspect was described as a 6-foot tall black man who weighs 180 pounds. He was spotted in a hospital gown and plaid short. The other suspect is a 5-foot-7 black man who weighs 135 pounds. He was seen wearing a gray polo shirt and gray shorts at the time, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
