Pedestrian killed in Victory Drive crash in Columbus, police say

A pedestrian died after being struck by a driver on Victory Drive Wednesday, the Columbus Police Department shared on social media.

CPD officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Victory Drive and 30th Avenue Tuesday night, according to CPD’s social media post.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and later died from their injuries, the police said. It’s unclear when they died.

The department’s Motor Squad is leading the investigation. No additional information has been released as of publication.
