Columbus man robbed at gunpoint on 32nd Street

Columbus Police said they are trying to identify the gunman who robbed one man and attempted steal from another Tuesday night in the 1400 block of 32nd Street.

The victims, ages 55 and 56, were on the porch when the black male suspect suspect pointed a pistol at them and demanded their money. Neither one was harmed, according to a police report. 

Authorities said they were called to the scene shortly after the 7:05 p.m. incident but have yet to capture the robber who fled the area with $65 in cash that belonged to the younger victim. 

According to police, the suspect is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 25 and 28 years old. He weighs between 160 and 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans, according to the report.
