Almost two months after a Dec. 5 robbery at a home in the 900 block of Donahue Street, the Auburn, Ala., police arrested a second suspect.

Luquavis C. Spinks, 24, of Opelika was charged with two counts of robbery first degree, burglary first degree and assault second degree. Two days after the robbery, Tacoya C. Cobb, 27, of Auburn was charged with two counts of robbery first degree, burglary first degree and assault second degree while the investigation continued.

Police were called at midnight to check on a robbery on Donahue Drive where two armed men approached a man and woman, demanded money and cell phones. The men fled on foot after taking only a cell phone.

The male victim was treated for a minor injury he sustained during the robbery.

Cobb was taken into custody after he was developed as suspect two days later. An ongoing investigation led to Spinks as a second suspect in the robbery.
