Suspect in Phenix City burglary caught on camera

The Phenix City Police Department is seeking the identity of the man responsible for the Jan. 22 residential burglary in the 5000 block of Riverchase Drive. The man pictured above is suspected of burglarizing the home between 1:20 a.m. and 1:24 a.m., according to the agency's Facebook page.

The Phenix City Police Department is seeking the identity of the person responsible for the Jan. 22 residential burglary in the 5000 block of Riverchase Drive.

On Saturday afternoon, authorities released still shots from surveillance footage of the burglary. The images show the black man suspected of burglarizing the home between 1:20 a.m. and 1:24 a.m., according to the agency's Facebook page.

Anyone who is either able to identify the suspect or provide further information about the case is encouraged to call the Phenix City Police Investigations Division at 334-448-2835 or 334-448-2837.
