Teen reports being assaulted by two men

A 16-year-old boy told police in LaGrange, Ga.  he was assaulted by two men during a robbery attempt.

According to a police report, the incident occurred at approximately 1:05 p.m. Saturday.

The Hogansville, Ga. resident told officers he was entering his aunt's apartment on Handley Street when two black males in their 20s he knew as "Brandon" and "Man Man" approached him.

The boy said one man grabbed him from behind and put him in a choke hold and told the other to go through the boy's pockets.

The boy's aunt saw what was happening and was able to fight off the suspects, hitting one of them in the head.

Nothing of value was taken from the boy.
