Shots fired in Marathon gas station on Buena Vista Road

Columbus Police said they are searching for the two men linked to shooting that happened early this morning in the Marathon gas station at 3712 Buena Vista Road.

No injuries were reported, according to a police report.

Officers said were called to the convenience store around 2:17 a.m. this morning after shots were fired inside the business around 1:58 a.m.

Police have yet to identify the assailants, who were described as black men dressed in black jackets and black jackets. Their faces were concealed during the incident, according to the report.

The motive behind the shooting is unclear.

The incident remains under investigation.
