Shots fired outside of Willow Creek Apartments
Columbus police said they are searching for man nicknamed “Five” accused of shooting at an 18-year-old woman and vehicle Monday night at Willow Creek Apartments.
No one was injured in the 7:30 p.m. incident reported to have happened in the parking lot outside of the 3700 Buena Vista Road apartment complex.
Authorities said they were called to area around 8 p.m. Sunday and spoke to the woman and 45-year-old car owner on the scene.
It was reported that a thin black man with facial tattoos fired a .45 caliber handgun at the woman and a 2014 Chevy Malibu, causing more than $1,000 worth of damage to the car.
According to the police report, the woman told authorities that she knows the suspected gunman by the nickname “Five,” and he is 5 feet 11 inches tall and between the ages of 20 and 30. He was last seen wearing a dark tank top and shorts, she added.
