Man, woman found in victim’s car

The State Bureau of Investigation has taken over an investigation after a man and woman were found riding in the vehicle of a LaFayette, Ala., resident found dead Thursday.

Authorities didn’t release the name of the victim found about 1:30 p.m., the Alabama Law Enforcement said today.

An investigation revealed the victim’s car was taken during a burglary before it was found by Auburn police. The man and woman riding in the vehicle were taken into custody for questioning.

No charges have been filed as the investigation continues by the SBI.
