2 teens die in crash

A two vehicle crash Sunday claimed the lives of two teens.

Both are from Midway, Ala. in Bullock County.

According to a report from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the crash occurred around 12:20 a.m.

The two teens killed was Jalyric Tarver, 16, and Chelsey Person, 18.

They were passengers in a 2000 Ford Mustang which collided with a 2008 Nissan Altima.

Neither was wearing a seat belt.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Drivers of both vehicles and another passenger in the Ford were taken to a hospital.

The crash occurred on U.S. 82 at the 208 mile marker, three miles west of Union Springs.

The investigation is continuing.
