Police arrest man in connection with Super 8 Motel homicide
Police said Monday afternoon they arrested a man on outstanding warrants for the Dec. 18 shooting death of Travis Coleman.
Terrence Jordan Holloway was arrested after a pursuit from Columbus Police Department’s Special Operations Unit Tacital Squad, along with the Patrol Division Direct Patrol Units.
Holloway has been charged with murder and faces a Recorder’s Court hearing at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Police also are searching for Brandon Lamar Kennedy in connection with Coleman’s death.
Kennedy is described by police as a 5-foot-5 black man weighing 140 pounds. He has shoulder-length dreadlocks, a beard and mustache and a skinny build.
Kennedy should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
Officials said they were dispatched to the Super 8 Motel at 2935 Warm Springs Road on Dec. 18 in reference to a shooting. They found Coleman dead in the parking lot.
