Man reports being shot in leg

A man told Columbus police he was shot in the left leg early Saturday.

According to the police report, officers met with the man around 3:30 a.m. at Midtown Medical Center.

The man told officers that he had left a nightclub on Milgen Road and was headed home when a black car forced him off the side of the road.

He said a black male pointed a chrome pistol at him and told him to get out of his vehicle.

He said the man, wearing a black hoodie, told him to “strip down” and “hand it over.”

The victim removed his pants and then was shot. After the assailant drove off, he drove himself to the hospital.

Police were told nothing was stolen.
