Two arrested after shooting on 14th Street in Phenix City
Phenix City police have charged two people with shooting a man in the arm Monday in the 800 block of 14th Street.
Michael Devonte Gordon, 22, and Natasha McKissic, 36, face charges in the 3:55 p.m. shooting.
Gordon is charged with attempted murder and McKissic with conspiracy to commit attempted murder, police said.
Officers say at 3:55 p.m. they caught a fleeing suspect who matched the description witnesses gave. “He was taken into custody without incident and identified as Michael Gordon,” said police, who subsequently arrested McKissic.
Both are in the Russell County jail.
